On reconsidering the Estimate together with the suggestion of the Commanding Ab. & Suptz Engineer ( Setter dated 12" 5 Tov: 1840 to address of #Conble (ol: Secretary) as to the low price of the Carpenter's and Hasterer's work, it is proposed to make

further allowance in the quantity of Timber used in consider = -fation of the defective workmanship of Chinese Carpenters and

to increase the price of plasterer's and Carpenters work 20 per cent.
